Frequently Asked Questions

What areas do you cover?

I am based in Essex. I cover the majority of the East Anglia and the South East of England.

When can I have a trial?

You can have a trial whenever you wish, but it is recommended that you have a trial no later than 4-6 weeks prior to your wedding day.

What Products do you use?

My kit contains many different luxury branded products such as MAC, Chanel, Bobbi Brown, Yaby, Benefit, Louise Young, Clinique, MUFE, Clarins, and Laura Mercier

How can I make a booking?

To make a booking please either contact me via the online contact form or telephone me to discuss your wedding details.

How can I pay?

A non-refundable deposit (the cost of the trial) is required before the trial takes place, this then reserves your wedding date for up to 10 days after the trial takes place. The Balance for your wedding day makeup is requested within 10 days of the trial taking place this then secures your chosen wedding date. Payments can be made via Cheque, Cash, Or Bank transfer.

What days and times are you available for trials?

This is my full time job so I can be flexible and arrange a trial time to suit you. I can also do weekend appointments to fit in around wedding commitments.

What happens at the trial and how long will it last?

You should allow around two hours for your trial. If there are more than two people having a trial, allow an extra hour. We will have a chat with you about the style of your dress and any ideas you have about the type of makeup look you want. I will assess your skin type and recommend products to suit your skin. I will then apply your make up exactly as it would be on the day (including eye lashes). Once you are happy with the look, I will record all the products used.

If I cancel my trial can I have a refund?

Once a trial is booked and has been paid for, no refunds are available for cancelations as your booking has reserved your wedding date, therefore any potential brides requiring your wedding date will have been turned away. Rearranging your trial date and time will be no problem.

If I cancel my wedding day booking can I have a refund?

If you decide to cancel your wedding booking no later than 3 months prior to your wedding date then 50% of your wedding day balance will be refunded. If you cancel less than 3 months prior to your wedding date then no refunds are available.

Where do trials take place?

I am a mobile makeup artist, therefore I can come to your home or chosen location for the trial.

Do you charge any mileage costs?

I travel for up to 15 miles each way from Ongar, Essex, for free. If you are located further than 15 miles then 40p per extra mile travelled will be added to the price.

Do you provide false eye lashes?

Yes. False eyelashes are including in the price.

Will the makeup last all day?

The makeup I use in my kit has all been selected not only for its photographic properties but also its durability and is of highest quality. Your make up will be applied using techniques to ensure that it will last well and will look fresh for the whole day. I will supply you with enough of your chosen lip colour to enable you to touch up your lips during the day.

How long will my makeup take on the day?

It will take approximately 45 mins to an hour for your makeup, and 30 mins for each extra person. There is no limit to the number of people that can have makeup done on the day.

Should I have my hair or makeup done first on the day?

I recommend having your hair done first as you want your makeup to look as fresh as possible.
